Shower & Bathroom Tile Installation
in Lake County & the North Shore
Showers are where bad tile work turns into water damage. Every shower we build gets a real waterproofing system behind the tile — not just thinset and hope — so the wall behind it stays dry for decades.
Everything, start to finish.
- Full demo of the old shower or tub surround
- Framing corrections, blocking for benches and grab bars
- Bonded waterproofing membrane on walls and pan
- Sloped mortar bed and flood-tested pan before any tile goes up
- Custom niches and benches sized to your tile, not the other way around
- Glass-ready plumb walls, grout, seal and silicone at the changes of plane
Bring us anything.
Showers & Bath we've done
Good to know
How long is my bathroom out of service?
A standard tub-to-shower conversion runs about one week from demo to grout. A full bathroom remodel takes longer depending on the other trades.
What waterproofing do you use?
A bonded sheet or liquid membrane over the whole wet area, with the pan flood-tested before tile. We'll show you the system before we close it up — you should always get to see the waterproofing on your own job.
Can you build a curbless or barrier-free shower?
Yes. It depends on your floor joists and how much depth we have to work with, so we'll check that on the estimate visit and tell you straight.
Do you handle the plumbing too?
Yes, we do the plumbing ourselves, and we bring in a licensed plumber when the job calls for one. We also set the walls plumb and square so the shower glass actually fits when it shows up.
